The National Sporting Goods Association launched the NSGA College Scholarship Program as an effort to help establish sporting goods as a preferred employment destination for top students across the country who currently, or in the past, have worked for an NSGA member retailer or team dealer. About the Program
The application period for the 2014 College Scholarship program will open November 4th, 2013.
The program will award $1,000 scholarships to the top applicants annually as judged by a committee of NSGA members.
Judging Criteria/Required Collateral:

Grade Point Average
-
Applicant's strong campus involvement

Letter of recommendation from an NSGA member

Official College Transcript

Current Resume
-
Applicant's desire to establish a career in retailing post-graduation (Preference will be given to students interested in a sporting goods retail or team dealer career.)
Eligibility
Applicants MUST be an enrolled student at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university, and either currently or in the past, have worked for an NSGA member retailer or team dealer.
