animal media group set to release third hockey graphic novel for kids

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA (Oct. 21, 2018) - Howard Shapiro of Animal Media Group, a member of the Hockey Dealers Association, has written his third hockey graphic novel for kids. Kate's Really Good at Hockey, which Shapiro co-wrote with Christina Frey and had illustrated by Jade Gonzalez, is about a girl invited to a prestigious girls summer hockey camp for some of the best 9- to 12-year-old players in the world. The girl is concerned about having to stay with her grandmother but discovers they have a lot in common through hockey.

Kate's Really Good at Hockey costs $10.99 in paperback and will be available Nov. 13. Shapiro is also looking for hockey retailers to work with on the sale of the book.
